Dear Mr Lance-Watkins,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding our medicine SUTENT® (sunitinib). I understand you requested information on the Adjuvant Sorafenib or Sunitinib for Unfavourable Renal Carcinoma (ASSURE) study.
You can access information on this study on a website called ClinicalTrials.gov with the following link:
The ClinicalTrials.gov identifier number is NCT00326898. This is a randomised phase III study comparing Sutent to sorafenib or placebo in patients with kidney cancer that has been removed by surgery. The primary endpoint is disease free survival and overall survival is a secondary endpoint. This study is currently recruiting participants and appears to be running in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
I hope you will find this information to be of help and interest. Please contact me if you require anything further.
