Moving the KCR Site
This piece of maintenance was done to make the site easier to administer technically and will also help the search engines surf the site bringing it further up the search engine ratings.
Announcement sent to all registered users
Sorry for any inconvenience you've been having to day with the site. For technical reasons I have had to move the site slightly from
www.kidneycancerresource.com/wiki
to
www.kidneycancerresource.com
This will make things simpler for me to maintain going forward and allow easier upgrades of the wiki software.
This is a small change and should have no effect on your actual usage.
However, if you have been "bookmarking" any Kidney Cancer Resource pages in your chosen internet browser then you will have to re-create these. You may even need to do a Clear Cache/History.
If you are having problems try this:
If you are using Internet Explorer then go to the "Tools" menu and then the "Internet Options" Item and then click on the "Browsing history" button and then click on the "Delete history" Button.
If you are using Firefox, go to the "Tools" Menu and then "Clear Private Data"
If you are using Safari, go to the "History" menu and then "Clear History"
Other than that the site should function in the same way. If you experience any issues then please feel free to contact me.
