Ileal Conduit
- Made by using a small segment of the small intestine and creating an artificial opening on the surface of the skin for urine to pass outside the body into a collecting pouch attached to the skin
I.M.
- Intramuscular
- A large vein that receives blood from the lower extremities, pelvis and abdomen and empties it into the right atrium of the heart
Inguinal
- Located in or affecting the groin.
Intraveinous Pyelogram also known as IVP
- test for checking the kidneys and ureters
- Inside the bladder
Insulin
- A protein hormone that promotes uptake by body cells of free glucose and/or amino acids, depending on target cell type.
- Chemotherapy administered within the bladder
- Treatment of disease by administering antibodies inside the bladder.
Intubate
- to introduce a tube to keep something open, also to introduce into ... through a tube.
I.V.
- Intravenous
IVP
- also known as an Intraveinous Pyelogram test for checking the kidneys and ureters
